Cypress Bend is a group of mid-rise condominium buildings, built from about 1980 to the early 1990s, set around lakes and fountains off Powerline Road. Most homes are one- and two-bedroom condos with elevator buildings, and the community is open to all ages.
Residents share a clubhouse, several heated pools, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, walking paths and a stocked lake. Shopping is next door at Cypress Bend Plaza and Powerline Plaza, I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike are minutes away, and the beach is about seven miles east. The Pomp, a planned entertainment district on the former Pompano Park racetrack, is close by.
