What it’s like to live in Palm Aire
Palm Aire grew up around a golf club founded in 1959 that became a well-known resort in the 1960s and 1970s, hosting the Florida Open and a steady stream of celebrity guests. Today Palm Aire Country Club runs three championship-length courses, the Palms, the Cypress and the Oaks, open to the public on a daily-fee basis.
Most homes are condominiums and villas along the fairways, with townhomes and single-family homes in sections such as Royal Point, Misty Oaks and Vizcaya. Many associations offer pools, a clubhouse, tennis and pickleball, and some sections are gated. The community sits west of I-95 off Powerline Road and Atlantic Boulevard, close to Harrah’s Pompano Beach and the planned Pomp entertainment district.
